Arbor Day 2007 on the West Capitol Terrace

Governor Culver and the Departments of Natural Resources, Education, Cultural Affairs and Administrative Services hosted an Arbor Day tree planting celebration on the West Terrace grounds of the State Capitol on Friday, April 27, 2007. Dozens of schools, groups and individuals answered the call to sponsor plantings and other improvements to the West Capitol Terrace, and on April 27, hundreds of people converged on the grounds to start planting trees, despite the mud we had from days of intense rain!
