Iowa Occupational Safety
and Health
IOSHA applies OSHA standards (29 CFR PART 1910, 1926) as adopted
by Iowa Workforce Development, Division of Labor. This agency investigates
safety and health complaints in construction and general industry and performs
general scheduled inspections. They are a good source of information and advice
on safety training.
OSHA's Safeguarding Equipment and Protecting Employees from Amputations
Security
on the Iowa State Capitol Complex
Iowa State Patrol Post 16 provides law enforcement
and security services on the Capitol Complex and at Terrace Hill, the governor's
mansion.
